it, and proved it above all in the cross. Yet the cross was the precise and only place where the foundation that cannot be moved was laid. As he says, ‘having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by him, I say, whether it be things on earth or things in heaven.’ ”* He made peace in the blood of His cross.
